Alleged Assault: IGP Orders Arrest Of Seun Kuti

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, has ordered the Lagos State Commissioner of Police to arrest Afrobeat singer, Seun Kuti.
The directive to arrest the singer followed a video where he was captured assaulting a police officer in uniform.
CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer in a statement Saturday evening said the IGP has equally ordered a speedy and full investigation into the remote and immediate cause(s) of the assault.
The Police chief also ordered prosecution of the suspect accordingly.
IGP Baba assures Nigerians that acts of contempt/disdain for symbols of authority will not be tolerated while offenders of such hideous crimes will be surely brought to book.
