Nigerian international goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie has officially parted ways with French club Paris FC following the expiration of her contract.
The 24-year-old shot-stopper joined the club in 2020 from Rivers Angels and leaves behind a remarkable legacy.
During her five-year spell, Nnadozie made 100 domestic league appearances, recorded 44 clean sheets, and maintained an impressive 74.4% save rate.
Her consistent performances were key to the club’s success both domestically and in Europe.
One of her standout moments came when she saved two penalties in the final against Paris Saint-Germain, helping Paris FC secure a vital victory.
Her contributions also played a significant role in the club’s qualification for the UEFA Women’s Champions League on three occasions.
Nnadozie’s excellence between the posts earned her several accolades, including the prestigious D1 Arkema Goalkeeper of the Season and the UNFP Best Goalkeeper award-further cementing her status as one of Africa’s top goalkeepers.
Paris FC announced her departure in a social media post, expressing gratitude for her commitment and achievements, and wishing her success in her next chapter.
Reports indicate that Nnadozie has agreed to join English club Everton FC Women in the Women’s Super League, marking a significant move in her career.
