Kendrick Lamar’s feud with Drake intensified during his pop-out show in Los Angeles on June 19, 2024, where he performed diss tracks ‘Not Like Us’ and ‘Euphoria’. The event, held at The Forum, saw Lamar perform ‘Not Like Us’ five times to an enthusiastic crowd, reinforcing the song’s popularity and record-breaking streaming success on Spotify.

During his performance of ‘Euphoria’, Lamar modified the lyrics to send a direct message to Drake: “Give me Tupac’s ring back and I might give you a little respect.” This remark references Drake’s purchase of 2Pac’s ring for $1 million, which he flaunted in the music video for his Kendrick Lamar diss track ‘Family Matters’.

Billboard reports that Drake has boasted about the ring, even using AI to feature 2Pac and Snoop Dogg in his diss track ‘Taylormade Freestyle’, where he called Lamar a disappointment to Compton rap legends. Lamar, who considers 2Pac a major influence, underscored his connection to the late rapper by performing ‘California Love’ with Dr. Dre during the show.

Kendrick Lamar’s latest performance adds another chapter to his high-profile feud with Drake, continuing to fuel discussions about its impact on their careers and the hip-hop scene.

Nigerian singer Babalola Oluwagbemiga Gabriel, popularly known as Bigiano, has admitted that turning down Don Jazzy’s offer to join Mo’Hits Records remains the biggest regret of his music career.

Speaking during an interview on Cool FM, the Shayo crooner revealed that the offer came at the peak of his fame in 2010, when D’banj introduced him to Don Jazzy. Despite the golden opportunity, Bigiano said he declined, believing that joining the label might limit his independence.

“Don Jazzy asked me, do you want to join Mo’Hits? Instead of me saying yes, the little mind that felt he had arrived said no,” he confessed.

Bigiano reflected on how the industry was changing at the time, especially with Wande Coal’s Mushin 2 Mo’Hits album dominating the airwaves. “When the album came out, I said to myself, I now have the biggest competitor. I was asking myself how to tackle that level of talent.”

He admitted that the decision has haunted him ever since. “If I could rewind time, I would go back and say yes three times.”

The singer, who has struggled to reclaim his past glory, believes joining Mo’Hits would have changed the trajectory of his career significantly.
