JUST IN: Tinubu Condemns Attack on US Embassy Staff

President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has joined prominent figures to express their shock and concern over the recent attack on a United States Embassy convoy in Anambra State.

Tinubu, in a statement by Tunde Rahaman, Office of the President-elect expressed his sympathy and condolences with the US government and families of the four personnel killed in the horrific attack at Ogabru, Anambra State.

The statement said the President-elect has taken it upon himself to investigate the identities and motives of the perpetrators with a pledge to ensure that they face the full weight of justice.

"Security is one of the cardinal issues on the agenda of Asíwájú Tinubu and will give it priority attention on resumption of office, which is why it featured prominently in his discussion with Secretary Blinken," the statement read.
