The 2024 Abuja International Carnival is scheduled to commence on Saturday, November 23, at Eagle Square, Abuja.
The three-day event, which will run until November 25, promises a showcase of Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage, creativity, and entertainment.
The carnival’s organizers announced the event on their official Instagram page, expressing confidence in its potential to attract thousands of visitors, including both local and international attendees.
This year’s edition will feature an array of activities designed to appeal to all age groups. Key attractions include: Cultural Displays, Fashion Shows, Cooking Competitions, Children’s Carnival, Art and Craft Exhibitions, and Durbar Parade and Cultural Night: Adding color and grandeur to the event.
Also, the carnival will feature performances from prominent Nigerian artists such as Portable, Terry G, Magnito, Styl-Plus, Terry Apala, and Soundboi BME.
These performances are expected to enhance the festive atmosphere and draw larger crowds.
Poised to reinforce the capital city’s reputation as a hub of cultural celebration and entertainment, the carnival aims to promote unity and creativity while serving as a platform to celebrate Nigeria’s cultural diversity.
