The aroma of Indomie noodles filled the air across Nigerian cities from October 3 to 6 as the nation’s favourite noodle brand transformed World Noodles Day into World Indomie Day, a colourful celebration of food, love, and community.
The highlight of the Lagos celebration at Ikeja City Mall was the “Upside-Down Indomie Kitchen,” a one-of-a-kind photo experience where kitchen furniture and utensils hung from the ceiling, symbolizing how Indomie turns ordinary moments into extraordinary memories.
The event drew thousands of participants, including families and young fans, who enjoyed music, dance competitions, games, and 360° photo booths, while sharing the fun online with the hashtag #WorldIndomieDay.
Speaking on the initiative, Tope Sule, Brand Manager, Indomie Nigeria, said the festival was a tribute to the people who made the brand a household name.
“World Indomie Day is not just about noodles; it’s about family, friendship, and shared joy,” he said.
The celebration also extended beyond malls to markets, schools, and communities, where teams led by content creator Asherkine served hot noodles and distributed cartons of Indomie to residents.
As the festivities ended, the brand reaffirmed its place at the heart of Nigerian life, a symbol of togetherness, comfort, and joy that continues to connect millions across generations.
