Billionaire businessman Dr. Deji Adeleke has spoken publicly on the long-standing paternity claims involving his son, Nigerian music star Davido.
The claims were made by Ayo Labinjo, an Ibadan-based woman who has alleged that Davido fathered her daughter, Anu. The issue recently resurfaced on social media after the child appealed for a fresh DNA test.

Addressing journalists at a press conference in Lagos on Tuesday, Dr. Adeleke said the family had remained silent out of respect for due process but decided to respond following renewed public attention. He stated that multiple DNA tests had been conducted over time, all of which confirmed that Davido is not the biological father of the child.

Dr. Adeleke stressed that the family acted responsibly by consenting to the tests and following legal procedures, adding that it was unfair for the issue to persist despite consistent scientific evidence.

He urged the public to respect the outcome of the tests and allow all parties to move on, calling for restraint in the public handling of sensitive family matters.
