Afrobeats singer Jaywon has called out rapper Odumodublvck, accusing him of disrespect and urging him to reconsider his actions. Jaywon, who has been in the Nigerian music industry for years, criticized the rising rapper for mocking him in a social media post, saying that Odumodublvck hasn’t achieved much yet but is already “stepping on toes.”

The situation began when Odumodublvck shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) that compared two pictures—one of Jaywon and Mavin Records star Ayra Starr, and another of Ayra Starr with American rapper Future.

In the photo with Future, Ayra Starr is seen posing closely with the rapper, with his arm wrapped around her waist. In contrast, the picture with Jaywon shows Ayra Starr subtly pulling away, holding his hand in a way that seems to prevent him from holding her waist, creating an awkward moment that went viral earlier this year.

Odumodublvck’s Subtle Jab

Odumodublvck used the two pictures to make a subtle dig at Jaywon, sharing them on his X account with the caption: “This life ehn,” suggesting that life can be unfair and that different people are treated in different ways based on their status.
