Masari Rejects SSA Portfolio, As Damilotun Aderemi Takes Over As SSA Private Secretary

Ibrahim Masari has rejected his appointment into the Presidency as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, to the President on Political Matters while Damilotun Aderemi takes over as Senior Special Assistant, SSA, from Tunde Sabiu Yusuf as Private Secretary to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

While there has  been no final official list of Senior Special Assistant, SSA, the President aides released to the public, sources have indicated that the list was nearly finished except there was a last minute rejection of assigned portfolio by Alhaji Masari who was a placeholder to the President after the primary election.

But president source said despite his rejection, the President is believed to be working out another portfolio to accommodate him.

He was said to have been assigned the current  portfolio of SSA-P because he lacked the proper qualifications for the position of a Minister or Special Adviser.
