Fuji music legend, Adewale Ayuba, has debunked reports alleging he divorced his wife, Azuka Ego, over a paternity scandal, describing the claims as false, malicious, and defamatory.

The rumours stemmed from a YouTube channel, Nigerian News, which alleged that Ayuba secretly conducted a DNA test that questioned the paternity of his children and led to the collapse of his marriage.

In a statement issued through his label, Bonsue Fuji Entertainment, and shared on his Instagram page, Ayuba dismissed the report as a fabrication, stressing that his marriage of over three decades remains intact and that there has never been any doubt about the paternity of his children.

“This story is nothing but a malicious fabrication,” the statement read. “Dr. Adewale Ayuba’s integrity and the sanctity of his family life have been unjustly targeted. We are consulting with our legal team to ensure that those responsible for spreading these lies are held accountable.”

Ayuba vowed to pursue legal action against those behind the publication, warning that he would not tolerate any attempt to tarnish his image.

He urged fans and the public to disregard the unfounded claims and continue to support him and his family.

Nigerian music star Paul Okoye, popularly known as Rudeboy and formerly one half of P-Square, has threatened legal action after a social media user accused him of coercing a domestic worker and implied the worker was underage.

The allegation emerged on X (formerly Twitter) after photos from the 25th birthday celebration of Rudeboy’s wife, Ivy Ifeoma, went viral.

An account identified as @chubbiedivah made the claim, prompting a swift response from the singer, who warned the poster would “face the law” and vowed to make an example of her.

Shortly after Rudeboy’s reply, the account deactivated its profile, apparently to avoid further backlash.

Supporters flagged the post to Rudeboy, who publicly thanked them for drawing his attention.

As of press time, no formal legal action has been confirmed. The controversy remains centered on the unverified social media claim and Rudeboy’s threat of legal recourse, pending any official complaint or new evidence.
