Veteran Nollywood actress Chinwe Owoh laid her husband, Frank Owoh, to rest on Saturday, July 26, 2025, in an emotional burial ceremony held in their hometown of Udi, Enugu State.
Heart-wrenching footage from the solemn event surfaced online the following day, capturing the profound grief of the actress. The footage showed Chinwe visibly overwhelmed with emotion as her husband’s coffin was lowered into the ground and covered with sand, a moment that left many mourners struggling to hold back tears.
The funeral was attended by several notable figures in the Nigerian film industry, underscoring the strong support from colleagues and loved ones during this difficult time. Among those present were renowned actors Bob Manuel Udokwu and Nkem Owoh, the latter being Chinwe’s brother-in-law.
Reports indicate that Frank Owoh had passed away in April, leading to this final farewell.
