Super Eagles stars lit up the Premier League on Sunday as Wilfred Ndidi, Ola Aina, and Taiwo Awoniyi featured in an electrifying 2–2 draw between Nottingham Forest and Leicester City.

Ndidi pulled the strings for Leicester in midfield for the full ninety minutes, marking his 28th appearance this season.

The Nigerian has contributed four assists so far in a strong campaign for the Foxes.

At the other end, Aina continued his solid form with his 33rd outing for Forest, picking up a yellow card in a gritty display.

Awoniyi, returning from injury setbacks, came off the bench in the 83rd minute to add firepower to Forest’s late push.

Leicester drew first blood when Conor Coady netted a rare goal in the 16th minute. But Forest responded quickly through Morgan Gibbs-White’s clever header from Elanga’s delivery.

Chris Wood appeared to have sealed it for Forest with a bullet header in the 56th minute, notching his 20th league goal of the season. Yet a moment of magic from Buonanotte in the 81st minute ensured parity, and a dramatic late save by Matz Sels denied Forest a sensational comeback.

It was a fiercely contested clash that saw Nigerian talents play key roles in a result that keeps both clubs battling for vital points.
