Nigerian gospel singer Shola Allyson has revealed that although she is still legally married, she no longer lives with her husband.

Speaking on Oyinmomo TV, the 54-year-old artiste reflected on her marital journey and the contrast between her personal experiences and the romantic narratives often associated with her music, including her breakout album Eji Owuro.

Her candid remarks have triggered wide reactions online, with many fans praising her openness about marital struggles and the realities that often lie behind celebrated love songs.
