The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has alerted the public to fraudulent online claims of an ongoing recruitment exercise, dismissing them as baseless and urging Nigerians to remain vigilant.
In a statement issued on Friday by the Corps Public Education Officer, Assistant Corps Marshal Olusegun Ogungbemide, the FRSC clarified that no recruitment is currently underway, nor are there plans for such an exercise at this time.
“The attention of the Federal Road Safety Corps has been drawn to false online publications spreading misinformation about an ongoing recruitment for personnel.
“We urge the public to disregard these claims,” the statement read.
FRSC Corps, Marshal Shehu Mohammed emphasized that all recruitment processes are transparent and conducted through official channels, including the FRSC’s website, verified social media platforms, and the National Traffic Radio 107.1FM.
He also warned the public against engaging with scammers, reiterating that the agency will not be liable for any losses incurred by victims of such schemes.
The FRSC urged potential applicants to rely solely on credible and authorized announcements, ensuring they stay informed through the proper channels to avoid falling prey to misinformation.
