Nigerian skit maker, Sabinus, has responded to the recent abduction of his father in Rivers State. The incident, which occurred on Wednesday, also resulted in the death of a security operative.

In his reaction, Sabinus revealed that a ransom was paid to secure his father’s release. While expressing gratitude for his father’s safe return, he did not disclose the amount paid.

Sabinus shared his thoughts on Instagram, stating, “Kidnappers who kidnapped my father could still watch my content and laugh; life is like that. But we thank God for providing it; otherwise, I would have been so sorry. Thank you, Lord.”

His comments highlight the unsettling reality of the situation and his relief at his father’s safety.
