Matchday 26 of the English Premier League delivered late drama on Tuesday, with Chelsea and Manchester United both forced to settle for draws.
At Stamford Bridge, Chelsea surrendered a two-goal lead as Leeds United fought back to earn a 2-2 draw, leaving the home fans frustrated after the Blues dominated early proceedings.
Manchester United also needed a late lifeline in London, with Benjamin Šeško scoring in stoppage time to rescue a 1-1 draw against West Ham United and extend United’s unbeaten run.
Elsewhere, Bournemouth came from behind to beat Everton 2-1 at Goodison Park after the hosts went down to 10 men late in the game, allowing the visitors to snatch all three points.
Tottenham Hotspur’s struggles continued with a 2-1 home defeat to Newcastle United, deepening pressure on Spurs as their poor run in 2026 drags on.
The results have tightened the race for European places and raised the stakes at both ends of the table.
