Nigerian artist Victony is gearing up to headline the 3rd edition of the Malembe Block Party in Kampala, Uganda, later this month.
Known for his hits like “Soweto,” “Kolomental,” “Apollo,” and “Everything,” Victony, whose real name is Anthony Ebuka Victor, has built a dedicated fan base in the Afrobeats scene.
His collaboration with Patoranking on the track “Babylon” further solidified his reputation as a rising star in the music industry.
The announcement of Victony’s performance was made back in March by Malembe Lifestyle, the organizers of the Block Party.
The Malembe Block Party has a track record of hosting popular Afrobeats artists in Uganda, with previous editions featuring acts like WSTRN, Joeboy, and NSG from the UK.
Scheduled for April 27 at the Lugogo Hockey Grounds, this year’s event promises to be another memorable experience for music enthusiasts.
While details about opening acts and DJs are yet to be disclosed, organizers Malembe Lifestyle are known for curating exceptional lineups.
Co-organized by NRG Radio, Nzou Media Hub, Fenon Records, and NTV Uganda, the Block Party is set to bring together music lovers for a night of electrifying performances.
Tickets for the event are available in three tiers on Quicket: Bronze (Early bird) for Ugx. 50,000, Silver (Early bird) for Ugx. 100,000, and Golden Circle for Ugx. 300,000.
