Daddy Freeze Advocates Bold Conversations on Allowances Before Marriage

Published

on

Popular media personality, Ifedayo Olarinde, widely known as Daddy Freeze, recently shared unconventional advice in an Instagram live session, urging men to openly discuss monthly allowances before considering marriage. The controversial On-Air Personality (OAP) emphasized the importance of financial compatibility and discouraged men from marrying women he referred to as “hungry.”

Daddy Freeze boldly asserted, “Stop marrying girls that are hungry. Enough is enough! Before you marry a girl, ask her, ‘What are you going to do for me?’ Start asking. Start being bold. Ask her, ‘How much are you paying me as allowance monthly?’” He believes that engaging in such conversations is crucial for building a strong foundation for a marriage.

The OAP advised against settling for relationships where the financial dynamics are imbalanced. He urged men to seek partners who can contribute financially and align with their lifestyle, emphasizing that any woman unwilling to provide a monthly allowance may not be worth pursuing.

Using high-profile examples, Daddy Freeze highlighted the importance of financial compatibility by mentioning the marriages of prominent individuals. He pointed out that individuals with substantial financial means tend to marry within similar social and economic circles.

“Adenuga’s child will marry Dangote’s child. Have you ever seen any Adenuga’s child marry a bricklayer? Do you know who Dangote’s daughter married? She married the former Inspector General of Police’s son,” Daddy Freeze remarked, emphasizing the significance of financial compatibility in these high-profile unions.

In a somewhat controversial tone, he suggested that men should seek partners who not only match their financial status but also possess physical attributes and intimacy compatibility. “If you earn N10,000 per month, look for a woman that earns N30,000 per month. And the woman must be beautiful and curvy as well as good in the bedroom. Isn’t that how they rate us?” he stated, presenting a perspective that may spark varied reactions.
