The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) is set to host the second University Registrars Workshop, aimed at facilitating the exchange of ideas on evolving university administrative practices.
Scheduled from April 22 to April 26 in collaboration with the Association of Registrars of Nigerian Universities (ARNU), the event will also feature the 75th Business Meeting of the registrars.
Keynote speaker Prof. Dakas C.J. Dakas will headline the event, joined by esteemed speakers such as Ekpo Nta, Chairman/CEO of the National Salaries, Incomes, and Wages Commission, and Prof. Chiedu Mafiana, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic at NOUN.
Notable attendees include Mrs Helen Nyitse, immediate-past Registrar of Joseph Sarwuan Tarka University, and Prof. Andrew Zamani, Director of the Institute of Governance and Development Studies at Nasarawa State University.
Malam Ibrahim Sheme, Director of Media and Publicity at NOUN, emphasized the significance of ARNU as a vital platform for registrars across Nigerian universities. He highlighted ARNU’s role in promoting ethical practices and fostering collaboration among university administrators.
