The Federal Fire Service (FFS), has renewed its collaboration with the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund), to set up fire stations in tertiary institutions across Nigeria.
The partnership was highlighted during a courtesy visit by FFS Controller General, Olumode Adeyemi Samuel, to TETFund’s headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.
Samuel described TETFund as a “strategic partner” and commended its efforts in advancing tertiary education through infrastructure development, research sponsorship, staff capacity building, and promotion of innovation.
He added that TETFund’s interventions have improved teaching and learning environments, expanded research opportunities, and contributed to national human capital development.
The initiative is designed to strengthen institutional resilience against fire disasters and safeguard educational assets nationwide.
