Shekwoshawe Named Logistics Director for Alkasim/Maikalangu Campaign

Hon. Amb. Vincent Godfrey ShekwoShawe, Chairman/Coordinator of the Maikalangu GrassRoots Network and Chief Executive Officer of Africa Icon Studios, owners of Abuja24, has been appointed as Director of Logistics and Mobilisation for the Alkasim/Maikalangu Campaign Council in Garki Ward, Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC).

The appointment, dated February 9, 2026, was conveyed in a letter signed by Maikasuwa Muhammed, Garki Ward Chairman, and Abubakar Salihu, Garki Ward Secretary.

According to the letter, ShekwoShawe’s appointment was based on his “proven record of performance, dedication and unwavering commitment,” as well as his strategic thinking and experience considered vital to the success of the campaign ahead of the 2026 AMAC Councillorship and Chairmanship election.

The campaign council urged him to discharge his responsibilities with sincerity, diligence and utmost dedication as the party works toward victory in the forthcoming election.

Reacting to the development, ShekwoShawe expressed gratitude to God and supporters for their encouragement.

“Thank God Almighty and thank you all for supporting and encouraging me. By God’s special grace we shall deliver victoriously,” he said.

The appointment has continued to attract congratulatory messages from supporters and members of the Maikalangu GrassRoots Network.
