Lucky Elohor, 29, founder of Digital Creator Chic and The GROW Network, has died following a road accident in Ilorin, Kwara State, on Monday, February 9, 2026.
Details of the crash were still sketchy as of press time. Her family confirmed her death in a statement shared on Instagram and other social media platforms, accompanied by a memorial image with the caption: “Gone to be with the Lord.”
Reports also triggered concerns over emergency response and healthcare infrastructure in the state.
Sources said Elohor was transferred from Ilorin to Ogbomoso, Oyo State, for medical imaging due to the absence of a functional MRI machine in Ilorin, a situation believed to have delayed urgent care.
Elohor was widely known for mentoring and empowering young content creators through her platforms, building a community focused on growth, collaboration and innovation in Nigeria’s digital space.
Her death has sparked renewed conversations on road safety and the need to strengthen emergency medical services across the country. Funeral arrangements are expected to be announced by her family.
