Crystal Palace ended their 12-game winless run with a 1-0 victory over Brighton in Sunday’s Premier League M23 derby.

At the Amex Stadium, Ismaila Sarr scored the decisive goal in the 61st minute as Palace held on for a crucial win that eased relegation concerns and boosted manager Oliver Glasner.

Brighton, meanwhile, struggled to break down a disciplined Palace defence and slipped to another disappointing result.

At Anfield, Manchester City came from behind to beat Liverpool 2-1 in a dramatic late turnaround.

Liverpool took the lead in the 74th minute through a Dominik Szoboszlai free-kick, but City levelled in the 84th minute via Bernardo Silva.

Deep into stoppage time, City were awarded a penalty after Matheus Nunes was fouled, and Erling Haaland converted to seal the win.

The match ended in controversy, with a late City goal ruled out by VAR and Szoboszlai shown a red card.

City’s win keeps them in the title race, while Liverpool were left to rue a costly collapse at home.
