Arsenal tightened their grip on the Premier League title race on Saturday with a convincing 3-0 win over Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Martin Zubimendi broke the deadlock before substitute Viktor Gyokeres struck twice to seal the victory, moving Mikel Arteta’s side nine points clear at the top.
Manchester United also boosted their top-four hopes with a 2-0 win over Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. Spurs were reduced to 10 men in the second half, and United capitalised as Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring before Bruno Fernandes added a late second.
Chelsea kept their European push on track with a 3-1 away victory over Wolves. Cole Palmer scored a first-half hat-trick to put the Blues in control, and they held firm after Wolves pulled one back.
In another Saturday fixture, West Ham defeated Burnley 2-0 to deepen the Clarets’ relegation troubles.
