The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), has denied claims that unpaid salaries triggered the ongoing strike by its workers.

Speaking on The Morning Brief on Channels Television on Wednesday, the Minister’s spokesperson, Lere Olayinka, said all salaries of FCTA and Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA), staff have been fully paid.

He explained that the only salary yet to be paid is that of January 2026, which is still running and therefore not due.

Olayinka stressed that the government is not owing any worker salary arrears, insisting that no staff member is owed “a dime.”

Meanwhile, the National Industrial Court has ordered the striking workers to resume work pending further resolution of the dispute.
