Sunday’s 3:00 pm Premier League fixtures produced decisive away victories, with Nottingham Forest easing relegation fears, Chelsea moving into the top four, and Aston Villa sustaining their title push.
At the Gtech Community Stadium, Forest secured a vital 2-0 win over Brentford. Igor Jesus opened the scoring early, capitalising on a defensive error, before Taiwo Awoniyi sealed the result late to hand Forest crucial points in their survival bid.
Chelsea continued their impressive form with a 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Goals from Estêvão and João Pedro set the tone, while Enzo Fernández converted from the spot. Chris Richards pulled one back for Palace, but the Blues held firm to climb into the top four.
At St James’ Park, Aston Villa beat Newcastle United 2-0, with Emiliano Buendía scoring a superb opener and Ollie Watkins adding a late header. The win keeps Unai Emery’s side firmly in the title race.
