The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has approved the promotion of over 2,000 staff of the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) and the Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA).
Chairman of the FCT Civil Service Commission, Emeka Ezeh, disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja, noting that the promotions cut across 165 cadres.
He said the affected staff were promoted after successfully passing a computer-based test conducted on November 29, 2025, describing the exercise as a reflection of the minister’s commitment to staff welfare and career progression.
Ezeh urged civil servants to remain diligent, stressing that promotions would continue to be based on merit and performance.
