Obika Joins Nigerians to Mark 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day

Hon. Joshua Chinedu Obika, representing the Abuja Municipal Area Council and Bwari Federal Constituency, has joined Nigerians in commemorating the 2026 Armed Forces Remembrance Day.
In a statement issued by his media team on Wednesday, Obika described the occasion as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by Nigeria’s men and women in uniform in defence of the nation.
He expressed solidarity with families of fallen heroes, veterans and serving personnel, while commending the Armed Forces for their professionalism and role in safeguarding national peace and security.
The lawmaker reaffirmed the National Assembly’s support for policies aimed at improving the welfare and effectiveness of the military, stressing that national unity remains vital in honouring the country’s heroes.
