The New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) national leader, Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, has urged elected officials and political appointees of the party in Kano State to remain loyal and steadfast, assuring them that their efforts would not go unrewarded.
The message was conveyed on Tuesday by the former NNPP Chairman in Kano State, Alhaji Hashimu Dungurawa, while speaking with journalists in Kano. Dungurawa said Kwankwaso advised party members who contributed to the NNPP’s electoral successes to remain committed to the party.
Quoting Kwankwaso, he said, “Stay where you are because you have laboured for the success of our party.”
Dungurawa explained that the call was intended to reassure NNPP officials amid rising political realignments, defections and speculations within Kano State and beyond.
