Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 3-2 in a thrilling El Clásico final on Sunday in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to lift the Spanish Super Cup.
Raphinha starred for Barça, scoring twice, while Robert Lewandowski added another to secure the win.
Barcelona took the lead in the 36th minute through Raphinha, but Vinícius Júnior equalised for Madrid in stoppage time.
Lewandowski restored Barça’s advantage, only for Gonzalo García to make it 2–2 at half-time.
The decisive goal came in the 73rd minute when Raphinha netted his second, putting Barcelona ahead.
Despite late pressure and a red card for Frenkie de Jong, Barcelona held on to claim their first trophy of the season.
The win boosts Barcelona’s confidence and extends their edge over Real Madrid in recent finals, leaving Los Blancos to rue defensive lapses.
