Chelsea Football Club have parted ways with head coach Enzo Maresca with immediate effect.
The decision follows talks held over the past 48 hours, which ended in a mutual agreement to separate.
Although the club is yet to issue an official statement, the matter is understood to be concluded.
Maresca departs after a challenging spell marked by inconsistent results and growing internal tensions, with sources indicating a strained relationship between the Italian coach and the club’s hierarchy.
Chelsea are expected to appoint an interim manager while the process of hiring a new head coach begins, as the club prepares for upcoming fixtures.
