Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive development, institutional reform and people-centred governance.

Oyebanji, represented by his deputy, Mrs Monisade Afuye, spoke on Tuesday in Ado-Ekiti at the inauguration of the new office complex of the Ministry of Local Government Affairs at the State Secretariat.

He said the new complex was necessary to provide a dignified and efficient working environment for a ministry responsible for coordinating grassroots administration across the state.

According to the governor, the facility is equipped with modern offices, improved ICT systems, conference rooms and better records management facilities to enhance productivity and service delivery.

Oyebanji noted that the complex would strengthen the ministry’s capacity to plan, coordinate and supervise local government activities more effectively, adding that his administration remains committed to staff welfare and continuous training.

The event was attended by commissioners, traditional rulers, top civil servants and other dignitaries.
