Arsenal strengthened their Premier League title challenge with a commanding 4-1 win over Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Gabriel Magalhães opened the scoring in the 48th minute with a header from a set piece.
Martín Zubimendi quickly doubled the lead, finishing a slick team move, before Leandro Trossard made it 3-0 with a composed strike.
Substitute Gabriel Jesus added a fourth late on to cap a dominant display by Mikel Arteta’s side. Ollie Watkins scored a late consolation for Villa.
The victory ended Villa’s winning run and kept Arsenal firmly in the title race, while the visitors remain in contention for European qualification.
