Abuja Continental Hotel has won the Outstanding Hospitality Excellence Award at the National Tourism Transportation Summit & Expo 2025, in recognition of its performance in Nigeria’s hospitality industry.
The award was presented during the gala night of the summit’s 8th edition in Abuja by the Institute for Tourism Professionals of Nigeria to the hotel’s Group General Manager, Karl Hala, and Cluster Director of Marketing, Richard Mutanda.
Organisers said the honour reflects the hotel’s high service standards, innovative offerings and sustained excellence in 2025, noting that the award celebrates organisations setting benchmarks in service delivery and contributing to economic growth.
Reacting, Mutanda described 2025 as a landmark year for the hotel, attributing the recognition to staff dedication and continued investment in upgraded guest rooms, conference and banquet facilities, wellness services and leisure offerings.
He added that the award joined several other honours won by the hotel this year, including recognitions for its MICE services, wellness programmes and sustainability initiatives, reaffirming its commitment to excellence in Nigeria’s hospitality sector.
