President Bola Tinubu will leave Abuja on Saturday for visits to Borno, Bauchi, and Lagos States, the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, announced on Friday.

In Borno, Tinubu will commission projects by Governor Babagana Zulum’s administration and the federal government.

He will also attend the wedding of Sadeeq Sheriff, son of former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff, to Hadiza Kam Salem.

From Maiduguri, the President will travel to Bauchi to condole with the state government and the family of Sheikh Dahiru Bauchi, the late Tijjaniyya Muslim leader, who passed on November 27.

He is expected as guest of honour at the Eyo Festival on December 27 at Tafawa Balewa Square, which will celebrate prominent figures including his mother, Alhaja Abibatu Mogaji, and former governors Lateef Jakande and Michael Otedola.
