Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has revealed that President Bola Tinubu personally invited him to join the All Progressives Congress (APC), but he turned down the offer.

Speaking at a recent public engagement, the governor said the invitation was extended shortly after Tinubu assumed office.

However, he explained that he chose to remain in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), citing loyalty, personal principles and the mandate given to him by the people of Plateau State.

Mutfwang stressed that party differences should not be a barrier to governance, noting that he enjoys a cordial working relationship with the Federal Government in the interest of peace and development in the state.

He reaffirmed his commitment to good governance and to fulfilling his campaign promises, irrespective of political affiliations at the national level.
