Governor Hyacinth Alia of Benue State has reaffirmed his commitment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, translating national priorities into tangible state-level impacts.

The agenda, anchored on economic reform, security, infrastructure, agriculture, human capital development, and youth empowerment, has found practical expression under Alia’s leadership.

His administration has strengthened financial management, blocked leakages, and ensured resources are channeled to priority sectors, reflecting Tinubu’s push for a stable, reform-driven economy.

On security, Alia has collaborated closely with agencies, supported community intelligence, equipped local vigilantes, and restored confidence among displaced communities.

In agriculture, the state has invested in mechanization, input access, rural infrastructure, and value-chain development, reinforcing Nigeria’s “food basket.”

Infrastructure projects, including road rehabilitation, school and hospital upgrades, and street lighting, are transforming Makurdi into a modern state capital.

Education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and job creation programs further highlight a people-first approach.

Alia’s emphasis on transparency, meritocracy, and ethical governance mirrors the President’s mandate.

According to Sir Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Benue residents are already witnessing “realtime development” that promises long-term prosperity.
