Arsenal edged Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, with two own goals deciding the dramatic encounter.
The hosts dominated much of the game but struggled against Wolves’ resilient defence. In the 70th minute, Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone turned Bukayo Saka’s corner into his own net to give Arsenal the lead.
Wolves equalised in the 90th minute through Tolu Arokodare, but Arsenal sealed victory in stoppage time when Gabriel Jesus’ header deflected off Yerson Mosquera for another own goal.
The win keeps Arsenal atop the Premier League table, while Wolves remain bottom, still seeking their first league victory of the season.
