President Bola Tinubu on Monday held a closed-door meeting with former Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Christopher Musa (rtd.), at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Musa arrived at the State House in the evening and went straight into a meeting with the president.
The purpose of the visit was not disclosed, but it is his first appearance at the Villa since his removal as CDS in October.
His exit from office had followed reports alleging an aborted coup plot, though the presidency did not publicly state the reason for his sack.
The visit comes amid worsening security concerns, including the abduction of schoolgirls in Kebbi, attacks on worshippers in Kwara, and the kidnapping of Catholic schoolchildren in Minna.
