The Accord Party has intensified preparations for the upcoming election in Usuma Ward with an urgent call for volunteers to serve as Polling Agents across the ward’s 79 polling units.
In a message circulated to members and supporters, the party expressed appreciation for ongoing mobilisation efforts, praising the commitment shown toward promoting its principal candidates. The leadership urged supporters to strengthen their engagement as election day draws closer, reiterating confidence in the agenda of the party’s lead candidate, referred to as “001.”
The party said recruiting Polling Agents is now a top priority, describing the role as crucial to safeguarding the integrity of the electoral process. Volunteers will be responsible for monitoring activities at polling units, reporting discrepancies, and ensuring the party is properly represented at every stage of voting.
Supporters were asked to submit the full names, voter’s card details, and passport photographs of interested volunteers for accreditation by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
Calling for unity and renewed commitment, the party encouraged members to support the campaign financially, morally, and through community mobilisation.
“We’re not just supporters; we’re champions of change,” the message read, ending with the party’s slogan: Accord! Oneness and Progress.
