Popular Nigerian musician Olamide has expressed grief over recent tragedies in the country, including the attack on the Christ Apostolic Church in Kwara, the death of AFUED NYSC members, and ongoing abductions.
In an Instagram Story, Olamide described the wave of incidents as “alarming” and urged Nigerians to remain united against forces seeking to destabilise the nation.
He also called for prayers for the safe return of those kidnapped in Kebbi.
“Our hearts are broken,” he said, sending “peace and strength to the families grieving” and stressing that the safety and security of Nigerians must never be compromised.
He concluded with a plea for lasting peace: “This can’t be our reality. Peace should be a certainty, not just a desperate prayer.”
