National Essay Competition: ACJ, FIRS Hold Strategic Meeting

The management of Abuja City Journal (ACJ), and the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) on Wednesday held a strategic meeting at the FIRS headquarters in Abuja ahead of the forthcoming National Essay Competition.

The ACJ delegation was led by the CEO/Publisher, Mr Foluso Sylvanus Ojo while the Technical Assistant, Broadcast Media FIRS, Arabinrin Aderonke represented the FIRS Executive Chairman, Dr. Zacch Adedeji at the session.

The meeting focused on key areas essential to the success of the competition, including publicity, promotion, nationwide impact and other logistics.

As the lead sponsor of the initiative, Arabirin reaffirmed FIRS’ commitment to supporting programmes that contribute meaningfully to national development.

She noted that the agency would not relent in its corporate social responsibility efforts aimed at empowering young Nigerians through education-focused initiatives.

According to her, the National Essay Competition aligns perfectly with the Service’s vision of fostering creativity, knowledge expansion and opportunities for the younger generation.

The ACJ team expressed appreciation to the FIRS for its continued partnership and unwavering support.

Both organisations pledged to work closely to ensure a smooth and impactful execution of the competition.
