Enyimba FC of Aba have suspended Chief Coach Stanley Eguma and his assistants, Ndubuisi Nduka and Joseph Boma, following a “run of poor and unsatisfactory results.”
The decision came after Sunday’s home defeat to Wikki Tourists in the NPFL.
Former international striker Lawrence ‘Danjuma’ Ukaegbu has been appointed interim coach to oversee training and preparations for Sunday’s match against Katsina United in Jos, while the club reviews recent performances to halt the team’s slide on the league table.
