The Abuja City Journal (ACJ), has stepped up publicity efforts for its forthcoming National Essay Competition as campaign materials arrived in Abuja at about 2 a.m. on Wednesday.

According to the Publisher and Chief Executive Officer, Foluso Sylvanus Ojo, the newly delivered items, including posters, T-shirts, face caps, flyers and other branding materials will be deployed across key locations to boost visibility and mobilise participation.

He reaffirmed the organisation’s commitment to promoting education in Nigeria by encouraging a strong reading and writing culture among young people.

The national competition, he noted, is fully funded, with all expenses covered for the 26 finalists expected from across the country.

In a new twist to the event’s planning, the Publisher disclosed that secondary school students in Abuja have been invited to witness the competition.

Letters of invitation have already been sent to at least 20 schools, a move aimed at boosting students’ confidence and inspiring them to embrace academic excellence.

He added that other managerial and logistical arrangements were in top gear to ensure a smooth and impactful event.
