Mr Jollof Apologises After In-Flight Clash with VeryDarkMan

Nigerian comedian Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, popularly known as Mr Jollof, has apologised following an in-flight altercation with social media personality VeryDarkMan.

In an Instagram post on Tuesday, he said he is not a violent person and acted only in self-defence.

He also apologised to the National Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), United Nigeria Airlines and passengers affected by the disruption.

“I sincerely apologise… I was only defending myself. I’m very sorry if I delayed your appointments. It will never happen again,” he said, also extending apologies to his wife and children.

Mr Jollof maintained that he was attacked first.

According to PUNCH Online, both men may face criminal prosecution over the incident.

VeryDarkMan Apologises After In-Flight Fight With Mr Jollof

Social media influencer Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan, has apologised for his in-flight confrontation with comedian Freedom Atsepoyi (Mr Jollof), that delayed a United Nigeria Airlines flight on Monday.

In an Instagram video on Tuesday, Otse took “full responsibility” for the altercation, describing his behaviour as “irresponsible” and acknowledging the inconvenience caused to passengers, including those with urgent commitments.

He extended his apology to fellow travellers, the pilot, and flight crew, and vowed to avoid such incidents in public spaces in the future.

Authorities are reportedly considering criminal prosecution for both VeryDarkMan and Mr Jollof over the clash.

Veteran Nollywood actor, Oyewole Olowomojuore, popularly known as Baba Gebu, has died after a brief illness.

The news was announced by actor and producer Kunle Afod on his verified Instagram page on Wednesday.

Afod described Baba Gebu as a “great legend” who passed away on Tuesday after a short illness.

Baba Gebu had a long and distinguished career in the Yoruba film industry, featuring in numerous productions and mentoring younger actors.

Regina Daniels Confirms Parents’ Reunion to Secure Brother’s Release

Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has confirmed that her estranged parents have reunited to secure the release of her brother, Sammy West, who is reportedly in detention.

In a Facebook post on Thursday, Regina said her parents, Rita Daniels and Jude Ojeogwu, reconciled “with no negative ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness.”

She lamented her brother’s prolonged detention, vowing to ensure his release. “Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long, but we will get him out even if I have to march there myself and create a storm,” she wrote.

Regina also praised her parents, describing her mother as “a powerhouse” and her father, a lawyer, as once highly respected in his field.

The post has sparked widespread reactions as fans continue to follow developments surrounding the actress’s family and marital issues with Senator Ned Nwoko.
