Kenny Blaq Headlines National Essay Grand Finale

Popular comedian and entertainer Kenny Blaq has been announced as the host of the grand finale of the National Essay Competition organised by Abuja City Journal.

The event will take place on the 26th of this month in Abuja and is expected to draw students, educators, policymakers, and literary enthusiasts from across the country.

Renowned for his energetic performances and unique blend of comedy and music, Kenny Blaq is expected to bring a lively and engaging touch to the ceremony.

According to the organisers, he will introduce a mix of entertaining and intellectually stimulating segments, including an educative game designed to involve both the finalists and the audience.

Ahead of the finale, the CEO/Publisher of Abuja City Journal, Mr. Folusho Sylvanus Ojo, held a strategic briefing with the 26 finalists selected from states across Nigeria.

He praised their outstanding writing skills and assured them of a transparent and impactful competition.

Ojo stressed the importance of nurturing young talent through initiatives like the National Essay Competition, noting that it was created to strengthen reading culture, foster critical thinking, and promote academic excellence among Nigerian youths.

The grand finale will feature presentations from the finalists, special performances, and the announcement of the top winners, who will receive prizes to support their educational pursuits. Expectations remain high as preparations intensify.
