The Presidency has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu’s resolve to end terrorism and foster peaceful coexistence among Nigerians.
Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Policy Communication, stated this in a post on X on Tuesday, describing Tinubu as a leader devoted to rebuilding national unity and ensuring lasting security.
Dare said Nigeria is “blessed with a President committed to ending the scourge of terror,” adding that Tinubu is pursuing partnerships to promote religious tolerance and strengthen economic ties.
He stressed that Nigeria’s diversity should be a unifying force, not a source of division, noting, “Christians and Muslims have suffered together, and will rebuild together.”
His remarks come ahead of President Tinubu’s planned meeting with former U.S. President Donald Trump over claims of religious persecution in Nigeria, allegations the government has consistently dismissed as misleading.
