The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC), has appealed to candidates sitting for the 2025 Directorate Level Promotion Computer-Based Test (CBT), to remain patient as the commission transitions from manual to digital examinations.

FCSC spokesperson, Taiwo Hassan, said in a statement on Monday that the commission was aware of candidates’ concerns over logistics and technical challenges, describing them as normal teething issues in a new system.

He noted that the exams are being conducted at Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), centres to ensure credibility and transparency.

Based on feedback, the commission is considering decentralising future exams to all 36 states and the FCT.

Hassan added that arrangements are being made for eligible officers travelling outside their duty stations to receive Duty Tour Allowances.

The FCSC reaffirmed its commitment to a transparent and efficient promotion process as it embraces digital assessment for senior civil servants.
