The Obaro of Iyamoye Kingdom, His Royal Majesty Oba Ibrahim Ade Momoh, has passed on, marking the end of a reign described as one of peace, wisdom, and purposeful leadership.
In a statement signed by Prince Muhammed Shuaibu on behalf of the royal family, the community announced the monarch’s transition “with deep sorrow and total submission to the will of Almighty God.”
Oba Momoh was widely revered for his humility, fairness, and commitment to the unity and development of Iyamoye and Okunland.
His reign, the family said, brought stability, progress, and renewed cultural pride to the community.
“His legacy will remain a guiding light for the present and future generations of Iyamoye sons and daughters,” the statement noted, adding that the late monarch’s compassion and wisdom touched countless lives.
Details of the burial arrangements will be announced later by the family.
