The FCT Commissioner of Police, CP Miller Dantawaye, has redeployed SP Babale Galadima, the Divisional Police Officer of Gwarimpa Division, to the Command Headquarters for disciplinary proceedings over alleged professional misconduct.
The action follows public complaints and is part of efforts to enforce discipline within the command.
CSP Nasir Gusau has been appointed as the new DPO, with directives to uphold professionalism, respect human rights, and maintain civility in public engagements.
CP Dantawaye warned that any act of misconduct or abuse of office would attract swift sanctions and urged residents to cooperate with the police in sustaining peace and security.
